Sydney Sweeney is excited to get back to filming for season 3 of ‘Euphoria’
During an interview with Collider’s Perri Nemiroff at the Toronto International Film Festival, “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney shared her preparation process for Season 3 of the acclaimed Max series while promoting her latest film, “Eden.” The upcoming season has faced delays, resulting in a longer gap between filming Seasons 2 and 3. During this time, Sweeney has not only continued to shine as an on-screen talent but also emerged as a promising producer, with projects like “Anyone But You” and “Immaculate” under her belt.
When asked about any new skills she developed during this period, Sweeney explained how her experiences on different sets have deepened her understanding of filmmaking’s collaborative nature. She stated:
“Whenever I’m on different sets, the most valuable lessons I learn are from the crew and understanding how different departments require different things. It’s about ensuring everyone has the tools they need to move forward.”
Sweeney’s remarks underscore her appreciation for the importance of teamwork and the behind-the-scenes efforts that bring “Euphoria’s” visually stunning and emotionally intense world to life. With an ever-expanding résumé that includes roles in “The White Lotus,” “Reality,” and “Madame Web,” Sweeney has had plenty of opportunities to refine her craft. Yet, she emphasized that her time on various sets has taught her how to best support her team. As she noted, “I think with ‘Euphoria,’ it’s especially about making sure that everyone can give their 100%.”
‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Still Hasn’t Begun Filming
Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in “Euphoria,” didn’t share many plot details about the upcoming season, but she expressed her enthusiasm to return to the show’s intense and emotional world. “I can’t wait,” Sweeney said with excitement. “I don’t really have anything to say, but I’m really excited.”
As fans eagerly anticipate the return of “Euphoria,” Sweeney seems equally thrilled to reunite with her fellow cast and crew. The actress has evolved both personally and professionally since the last season, and it will be interesting to see how these changes influence her portrayal of Cassie, a character known for her emotional depth and complexity.
With Season 3 of “Euphoria” on the horizon, Sweeney’s remarks offer a small glimpse into the show’s behind-the-scenes dynamics and her personal growth as an actor. Audiences can look forward to seeing how her expanded perspective enhances her performance when the popular series makes its return.
