Tulsa King (2022) Season 1 [S01E02 ] Paramount Review
Tulsa king Review – Sylvester Stallone stars in the new Paramount plus series Tulsa King let’s see New York mafia member Dwight the general Manfredi is released from prison after 25 years and exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa Oklahoma realizing that his mob family may not have his best interest in mind Dwight slowly builds a crew this is created by Tyler Sheridan who is an excellent writer I was looking forward to the series based off of Tyler Sheridan and Sylvester Stallone in a series.
Tulsa King Story
I watched the first two episodes of head of its premiere on Paramount plus the first episode coming out soon and then the second episode coming out on November 20th the first two episodes just with these first two episodes I’m immediately hooked with the series I thought this was a tense show with a lot of great writing and Sylvester Stallone giving a really good performance as exiled by his boss the setup shop in Oklahoma in the first few minutes of this series there’s a lot of great tension as he is trying to earn his way back to this mob family and they’re exiling him a lot of great dialogue.
Tulsa King Episode 1 & 2
back and forth that banter is really intense so the dialogue just within the first few moments of the series really captures your attention and really never lets go as he explores Tulsa Oklahoma he’s old-fashioned he doesn’t know how cell phones work he doesn’t have a debit card he sees the shop immediately goes in and demands their business and once 20 of their weekly earnings everything he does from negotiating with people to demanding things from them you are immediately drawn into the performance from Sylvester Stallone he demands your attention he’s.
Tulsa King Scenes
there’s so many scenes where he’s interacting with the other characters you are absolutely glued to the screen that based on the dialogue and performance from Sylvester Stallone he has a lot of fun in here and he is so good he is the right pick for this kind of character who easily is able to go into his town and take control over it get what he wants he goes to dispensary demands their earnings and he and he starts to build his own crew he is ruthless he is violent he is so good in here and I loved the character and the performance as well it was electric it was stunning it just really demands your attention and you have to watch everything that Sylvester Stallone does so that.
Tulsa King Episode 1
first episode review establishes who really is this character and how ruthless he can be and controlling he can be and then that’s that second episode that starts to build on that character that first character that first episode lays the foundation for the tone and the writing and then that second episode starts to build off of that by giving a little more development for Sylvester Stallone’s character his past connection questions with his family the involvement with the CIA and things he’s done at parties and stuff but also growing that business.
I’m looking forward to seeing where the rest of the series will go with the business and how much he will control while also watching while also having the CIA looking closely at him but also establishing the character because there are some personal moments in that second episode that involve family and regrets as well so I think that this series will have a lot of personal development for Sylvester Stallone’s character that will really break this character down and really have layers to him but just these first two episodes really balance that business aspect while also giving us development for him as well and a really good performance from and a really good performance from Sylvester Stallone’s Iwas hooked with these.
first two episodes and immediately drawn into it and wanting to continue watching it I was really disappointed that I only got to watch the first two episodes because after that second episode I said I need more immediately I remember pausing it and saying that 25 minutes this is some of the best things I have seen this year so Tulsa King I highly recommend checking it out if you’re a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone.
I think you will enjoy this series it’s he demands your attention the writing is thrilling from Tyler Sheridan the conversations back and forth how controlling he is and how he can put his hands in several different things and get what he wants it’s so interesting to watch but that second episode starts to tease a little more development for it and I was really happy to see that they were taking this character in a personal route rather than just having him control everything in Tulsa Oklahoma I want to see him I want to see that character I want to see that writing form and that.
